Your procedure is complete. Your recovery deserves a plan.

L’Ateleir provides medically guided ICOONE recovery programs for patients following cosmetic and other approved surgical procedures. Each plan is shaped around your procedure, stage of healing, surgeon’s guidance and individual recovery needs.

Post-surgical recovery

Surgery may happen in a day. Recovery continues long after.

Swelling, heaviness, bruising, tightness and changes in tissue texture can continue after a procedure. Some patients may also develop firm, uneven or restricted-feeling areas as the body heals.

L’Ateleir uses ICOONE’s gentle mechanical microstimulation as part of an individualized recovery plan. Sessions are external and non-invasive, and may be used to support local circulation, lymphatic movement, temporary swelling-related discomfort and the quality and mobility of healed tissue.

This care complements your surgeon’s plan. It does not replace surgical follow-up, medical evaluation or treatment of a complication.

Procedures

Recovery support for face and body procedures.

L’Ateleir may provide recovery support after the following procedures when appropriate and cleared by the treating surgeon or medical provider.

  • Liposuction and body-contouring procedures
  • Abdominoplasty and abdominal procedures
  • Breast procedures
  • Facelift and neck-lift procedures
  • Rhinoplasty
  • Blepharoplasty
  • Other approved cosmetic, abdominal, pelvic or orthopedic procedures

The procedure list does not guarantee candidacy. Treatment timing, areas and intensity are determined individually and may require written clearance and procedure-specific restrictions from the treating provider.

Individualized programs

Care shaped around what your body needs now.

Post-Operative Swelling and Heaviness

Gentle, targeted support for fluid-related swelling, heaviness and tissue tension following an approved procedure. Treatment begins only when L’Ateleir and the treating provider determine that it is appropriate.

Fibrosis and Restricted-Feeling Tissue

Care for healed areas that feel firm, dense, uneven or less mobile following surgery. The goal is to support tissue comfort, flexibility and a smoother-feeling recovery without aggressive manipulation.

Scar and Tissue-Mobility Support

External treatment around appropriately healed surgical scars and surrounding tissue. Plans are designed to support local circulation, tissue mobility and the visible appearance of the treated area.

Facial Surgery Recovery

Precise treatment for approved facial and neck procedures, including rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, facelift and neck-lift recovery. Smaller handpieces allow the provider to work carefully across delicate areas after clearance.

Lymphatic and Edema Support

Individualized care for fluid-related swelling, heaviness and compromised lymphatic movement. Clients with diagnosed or suspected lymphedema, venous disease or systemic causes of swelling require appropriate medical evaluation and provider guidance before treatment.

Postpartum, Pelvic and Abdominal Recovery

External, non-invasive support after birth or approved abdominal or pelvic surgery for healed tissue, swelling, tightness and scar-related restriction.

This is not pelvic-floor physical therapy. L’Ateleir does not provide internal treatment, biofeedback, prolapse treatment or rehabilitation for bowel, sexual-pain or pelvic-pain disorders. Those concerns require a physician or licensed pelvic-floor physical therapist. For bladder leaks, see Emsella below.

Minor Muscular Discomfort and Recovery Support

ICOONE may be used within its cleared indications for temporary relief of minor muscle aches, pain, tension or spasm in approved treatment areas. It is not a substitute for diagnosis, orthopedic care or physical therapy.

Additional medical programs

Medical and restorative programs at L’Ateleir are provided under the direction of a licensed Florida medical director who sets our treatment protocols and oversees the clinical care delivered here.

Each program below is individually assessed, may require written clearance from your treating provider, and works alongside — never in place of — your physician, oncologist, physical therapist, certified lymphedema therapist or pelvic-floor therapist.

Burns and Scalds

Support for appropriately healed burn and scald tissue where scar quality, tightness and mobility affect comfort. Care begins only after the treating physician confirms that healing is complete and that external treatment is appropriate.

Venous Insufficiency

For clients with diagnosed venous insufficiency, ICOONE may be incorporated into a physician-directed plan to support local circulation and comfort within its cleared indication. It does not treat the underlying vein condition and requires evaluation and guidance from the treating vascular provider.

Diagnosed Lymphedema

For clients with diagnosed lymphedema, ICOONE may be incorporated alongside care from a physician or certified lymphedema therapist to support lymphatic movement and tissue comfort. It does not treat or cure lymphedema and never replaces prescribed compression or decongestive therapy.

Tendinopathy

Within its cleared indication for temporary relief of minor muscle aches, pain and spasm, ICOONE may support comfort around tendon-related discomfort as part of a plan directed by your orthopedic or sports-medicine provider. It is not a substitute for diagnosis, imaging or physical therapy.

Fibromyalgia

For clients living with fibromyalgia, gentle ICOONE sessions may be incorporated into a physician-directed plan for temporary relief of minor muscle aches and tension. It does not treat fibromyalgia itself, and intensity is kept to what each client finds comfortable.

Breast-Cancer and Senology Rehabilitation

Following breast surgery or oncology treatment, ICOONE may be incorporated into recovery only with written clearance from the treating oncologist or surgeon, to support tissue mobility, comfort and lymphatic movement in cleared areas. Oncology care and every cancer-related decision remain entirely with your treating team.

Panniculopathy

Support for the comfort, local circulation and appearance of dense, uneven or fluid-retaining tissue, within ICOONE’s cleared indications for local circulation and the appearance of cellulite, as part of an individualized, medically guided plan.

How a session feels

You sit on the chair as you would any seat. As the session builds you feel tingling and strong, rhythmic contractions of the pelvic-floor muscles. Your provider adjusts the intensity to keep you comfortable, and you can go straight back to your day afterward.

Your plan

A series is commonly six sessions, about twice a week. Your provider sets the number and spacing around your symptoms, and may suggest occasional maintenance sessions afterward. Results vary from person to person.

Before you book

Your provider reviews your health history first. Emsella may not be suitable if you:

  • are pregnant or may be pregnant
  • have a pacemaker, defibrillator, neurostimulator or other implanted electronic device
  • have metal implants in or near the pelvis or hips, including a copper IUD
  • have had recent surgery in the area or have an active infection

Emsella is not a substitute for medical evaluation. New, sudden or painful urinary symptoms, blood in the urine, or signs of infection should be seen by a physician before treatment.

The technology

Precise support without aggressive treatment.

ICOONE uses motorized handpieces and patented Roboderm microstimulation to work across the surface and underlying tissue in a controlled, adjustable way. The experience is often gentle and massage-like, but every medical and restorative protocol is selected around the treatment area, healing stage and clinical guidance.

Your recovery pathway

Care begins with the procedure, the timing and the whole picture.

Step one

Assessment

We begin with your procedure, date of surgery, current stage of healing, areas of concern and the instructions provided by your surgical team.

Step two

Clearance

Post-operative treatment begins only when medically appropriate. L’Ateleir may request written clearance, restrictions or direct guidance from your surgeon or treating provider.

Step three

Personalized Series

Your provider recommends the treatment areas, frequency and series based on your recovery needs. No standard number of sessions is appropriate for every patient.

Step four

Coordinated Follow-Through

Your surgical provider remains responsible for your operative care. If a concern falls outside L’Ateleir’s role, treatment pauses and you will be directed back to the appropriate medical provider.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

When can treatment begin after surgery?+

There is no universal start date. Timing depends on the procedure, healing stage, incisions, restrictions and the surgeon’s guidance. L’Ateleir begins care only when treatment is considered appropriate.

Does ICOONE replace lymphatic drainage or surgical follow-up?+

No. ICOONE is one potential component of a recovery plan. It does not replace follow-up with your surgeon, evaluation of complications, physical therapy or another treatment specifically prescribed for you.

Is the treatment painful?+

The intensity is adjustable and the experience is generally gentle. Post-operative sensitivity varies, so every session is adapted to the treatment area and the patient’s stage of recovery.

How many sessions will I need?+

The number and frequency depend on the procedure, timing, areas treated, provider guidance and individual response. Your recommendation is made after assessment.

Can L’Ateleir treat an open incision or suspected complication?+

No. L’Ateleir does not treat open wounds, infections, uncontrolled pain or suspected surgical complications. Contact your surgeon or appropriate medical provider promptly if you have a concern.

Do I need my surgeon’s clearance?+

Post-operative treatment may require written clearance and procedure-specific instructions. Bring any restrictions, compression-garment guidance and follow-up information to your assessment.

What is Emsella used for?+

Emsella is FDA-cleared to treat urinary incontinence: leaking when you cough, laugh, sneeze or exercise, a sudden urgent need to go, or a mix of both. It works by strengthening the pelvic-floor muscles that support the bladder.

Is Emsella painful, and do I need to undress?+

No undressing is needed; you stay fully clothed. Most people describe tingling and strong muscle contractions rather than pain, and your provider adjusts the intensity to keep you comfortable.

How many Emsella sessions will I need?+

A series is commonly six sessions of about 30 minutes, roughly twice a week. Your provider sets your plan at your consultation, and results vary from person to person.

Is Emsella the same as pelvic-floor physical therapy?+

No. Emsella strengthens the pelvic-floor muscles from outside the body. It does not replace an evaluation by a physician or a licensed pelvic-floor physical therapist, and L’Ateleir does not provide internal treatment, biofeedback or prolapse treatment.
