About L’Ateleir

Made by hand, for one person.

The idea behind our name

A studio, not an assembly line.

L’Ateleir is built to feel like a studio: an intimate place where care is done by hand, one person at a time. In a world of assembly-line aesthetics, we wanted something more considered, a place where you are seen as a whole person, and where beauty and wellbeing are treated as one.

Our story

Why we opened L’Ateleir.

Andrea Albertini, founder of L’Ateleir Aesthetics & Wellness

Andrea Albertini

Founder

L’Ateleir began with a simple idea: looking your best and feeling your best shouldn’t be separated, and neither should feel like a transaction. Andrea built L’Ateleir to care for the whole person, with the attention she believes every client deserves.

Long before founding L’Ateleir, Andrea Albertini built her life’s work around one belief: every person deserves care built around who they are, not just what they came in for.

When Andrea founded Horizon Care Services, she saw a critical gap in home healthcare. Families needed more than assistance for a parent or loved one. They needed thoughtful, dependable care that protected dignity, encouraged independence, and considered the whole person. Andrea created Horizon to provide the level of care she believed every family should be able to expect.

More than two decades spent caring for older adults gave Andrea an intimate understanding of aging and quality of life. She saw how strength, mobility, confidence, connection, and a sense of personal wellbeing shape the way people experience every stage of life. She also learned that the best outcomes do not begin only when someone becomes ill or needs assistance. They begin earlier, with prevention, consistency, and the decision to care for the body before its needs become urgent.

As Andrea entered a new chapter in her own life, she began asking the same questions for herself that she had always asked for her clients: What does it mean to feel truly well? How can we support the body as it changes? How can we preserve vitality, confidence, and quality of life for as long as possible?

L’Ateleir grew from those questions.

It is not a departure from Andrea’s work in healthcare. It is a natural extension of it. Horizon helps people continue living well as their care needs change. L’Ateleir helps people invest in their wellbeing earlier, using medically guided care, science-backed technology, and personalized treatment plans to support the skin, body, metabolism, circulation, and overall sense of vitality.

Andrea created L’Ateleir for people who want more than a temporary treatment or a quick cosmetic fix. She envisioned a place where aesthetics and wellness are considered together, where every recommendation begins with listening, and where clients are cared for as individuals rather than moved through a menu of procedures.

At its heart, L’Ateleir reflects the same passion that has guided Andrea throughout her career: helping people feel better, live more confidently, and experience the highest possible quality of life.

The difference is that now, the care begins sooner.

How a plan is built

Great results are built, not bought.

Behind every plan is a way of thinking we call the Pyramid of Rejuvenation. Four layers, each supporting the one above it.

Finish Correct Restore Foundation

Foundation. Wellness at the root. How the body functions: circulation, lymphatic drainage, how it processes what we do to it.

Restore. Restore and regenerate. Rebuilding skin, scalp and tissue from within, using your own biology.

Correct. Lift and correct. Volume, firmness and definition, addressed where they actually changed.

Finish. Radiance and finish. Surface clarity and glow, which is the visible payoff.

The layers aren't a ladder you have to climb. They're how we decide what will actually work for you, and in what order. Sometimes a plan lives entirely in one layer. More often it borrows from two or three. Which is which is what the consultation is for.

Medical Director

John Bacha, DO, FACOS

Board-certified general surgeon · Fellow, American College of Osteopathic Surgeons

Dr. Bacha is a board-certified general surgeon with advanced training in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, bariatric and metabolic surgery, and reconstructive and cosmetic procedures. As L’Ateleir’s Medical Director, he sets our treatment protocols, oversees our clinical care and reviews the medicine practiced here. Every medical service, including anything prescribed, is evaluated and supervised by a physician.

For our clients, that background matters. A surgeon’s understanding of facial and body anatomy, healing and safety stands behind every protocol at L’Ateleir. Dr. Bacha has worked alongside many of Palm Beach’s plastic surgeons on procedures from routine cosmetic surgery to complex reconstruction, and brings hands-on experience across aesthetic medicine, including injectables, dermal fillers, body contouring and skin tightening. His expertise in metabolic health adds depth to our wellness and medical weight management care.

What sets his approach to weight-loss medicine apart is his personal understanding of the journey. After undergoing bariatric surgery himself in 2010, he lost more than 140 pounds and has kept it off. That experience, combined with his surgical expertise, gives him a deep understanding of the physical, emotional and behavioral challenges of obesity and long-term weight management. He recognizes that lasting success extends far beyond the operating room and depends on ongoing attention to nutrition, physical activity, behavior and lifelong wellness. He believes in empowering patients through education, individualized treatment plans and compassionate support, with the goal of improving overall health, restoring confidence and achieving sustainable, long-term results.

Dr. Bacha is also frequently sought out by plastic surgeons in the Palm Beach area, having served as assistant surgeon and co-surgeon to many of them on procedures ranging from routine cosmetic surgery to complex reconstruction.
